From the airport, rent a car or arrange a private transfer. The drive is scenic but includes mountain roads, so allow extra time and consider your comfort with alpine driving.
BY TRAIN
If you prefer not to drive, you can take a train part of the way and then transfer by car/bus.
Main Train Routes to the Dolomites​
Bolzano/Bozen is the largest and most connected station, but slightly farther from Colfosco. Brunico/Bruneck is closest, though requires more transfers to reach:

Munich Airport to Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen (3–4 hours, often with one transfer in Innsbruck).

Venice (Santa Lucia or Mestre) to Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen (3–4 hours, typically with a transfer in Verona).

Verona to Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen (2–2.5 hours).

Milan to Verona, then connect to Bolzano/Bozen or Bressanone/Brixen (4–5 hours).
Final Leg to Colfosco (Bus or Taxi)
There is no train station in Colfosco. After arriving at a station, take a regional bus or taxi:

From Bolzano: Take Bus 350 to Val Gardena, then transfer to a bus for Colfosco, or take a direct SAD bus/private transfer.

From Brunico: Take a regional bus (SAD) to Corvara and then a short local bus or taxi to Colfosco.

Private Transfer / Taxi: Pre-booking a taxi is advisable as it is a 1-1.5 hour drive into the mountains.
BY CAR
Driving to Colfosco is one of the most beautiful ways to arrive, with dramatic mountain views throughout the final stretch. Roads are well maintained, but expect winding alpine routes as you approach Alta Badia. If you're renting a car, be sure to have an international's drivers permit and make sure to opt in for an automatic, unless you're really up for an adventure!

Rooms price between €430-€450 per night based on double occupancy including breakfast. No Stay 4 pay 3 promotion available here but it is a slightly more affordable room type.

A beloved family-run more rustic guesthouse in the heart of Colfosco — warm, cosy, ski-to-door and wonderfully hospitable.

Approx. 15 min walk to the wedding venue hotel (5 min walk to reception gondola station) or a 2-3 min drive to both locations (important: you will likely need your own transportation here)

Hotel Jägerhof
Ski-in/ski-out hotel in the centre of Colfosco with a cosy wellness area, half-board dining and slope-side charm.
